Hey everyone,

I thought I'd take the initiative and make a thread for Sebring! I know quite a few people from automotive forums all over the net will be attending so I wanted to do my best to get all of us gear heads together since many of us will be there already!

Somehow for last year's race it was a complete bust and it seemed everyone was there but no one had a clue about it. No phone numbers exchanged to actually get a group together or anything of that nature which is a damn shame because Sebring kicks ass!

Regardless, I will be there a day or two ahead of the race in a rented RV some buddies and I have picked up for this race specifically.

Anyone feel free to stop by our RV if you are there. I'll definitely be renting a golf cart as well to add to the madness.

12 hours of badass cars, great people, thousands of fellow car enthusiasts, sexy ladies (that's questionable at times but there are some there, nonetheless ) and an RV with good food and cold drinks - count me in!

Either way, I will obviously be attending, cameras in hand. Hopefully there are more members on here going than just me. I was hoping to start a sign up sheet so everyone knows who is going and we can all exchange info before the race.

Might as well get the ball rolling now before it's too late since the race is coming up ridiculously soon.

I really wish I could. I am a huge motor racing fan, especially ALMS. This year should be exceptional with the debut of several new cars in the GT classes, including that awesome M3 GTR. Have fun and have a few cold ones for me.

Chris, I am really looking forward to seeing your pictures of the event.

 

I'm trying to get there, I've another obligation, but trying to get out of it. If I do I'll have to drive the M3 to celebrate its re-entrance into the ALMS.

Who else is attending? I've heard from a few of you via PM already. I can't wait.

Looks like Mark (SwatDoc) and I are stuck on the same turn! (Turn 1) Which is badass. If any of you are going, look for me on Turn 1 with a 30 foot RV. We will be leaving tomorrow at 8:30am to head to the track!

Odds are I will have my camera gear on me somewhere.
