Thoughts on upgrading my Nikon D60 to a Nikon D7000

Hello,

I've had my Nikon D60 for 5 years now, I'm getting better and I've learned how to use it on my own. Reflecting each year on my pictures I've come to a point that my pictures are getting very clear with little or no distortion.

I am very pleased of the progress over the years, however I am contemplating the upgrade to a better camera; I recentley upgraded my lens to a Nikon AF-S 35mm 1:1.8 G for my D60 which I used on vacation capturing the photo's below.

Sample of some of my pictures:

Is the upgrade to a D7000 a good move and will my current 35mm AF-S 1:1.8G lens be a great prime lens for taking photo's.

Your thoughts and suggestions are highly apprecaited.

Thank you in advance,

d600 if it comes out full frame and for $1500 as rumored will be a game changer.

Thanks. I'll wait then, I am aiming to get a 24-70mm lens, Tripod and a Fish Eye Lens for this year.
