So if someone was to buy a new DSLR, and go under 1K for body and lense, which would you all choose? I am very close to buying so, wheres best pricing? Ive looked at Amazon, best buy and such, but any others?

Totally a amateur here, but would like a nice DSLR to play with. Seems either Nikon or Cannon, but what models? I kind of like the video feature as well.

Help me choose! I dont know what way to go!

Send me the $1k and I will personally hand select one of Atomic's camera's and UPS it to you. He won't know if one is gone

Now I know your sinister plan, I'd be on the lookout.

For $1000, I'd look at the Nikon D5000 kit or maybe a used D90. Or look at Canon's t2i which I think is around the same ballpark for price.

Under 1k, new Canon 60D without a doubt.

Tilty screen, good video features and decent photo as well.
