Sony DSC-TX1. Awesome little camera. Takes panoramic pictures, HD video, 12 meg pictures. I took mine to Brazil and it worked great.

Why wouldn't you want to take your ordinary camera with you? Thailand is way more civilized than Tasmania ever will.

In fact, it would be sort of like traveling from Sudan to Monaco for you.

Because it would involve taking another bag, and with the shit we gonna be doing, a compact will be alot more convenient, and i'll be more inclined to take pictures of those lady boys for you, faggles.

Never been a fan of Sony cameras. Not entirely sure why however.

Have had the Canon s90 since Xmas. Pretty stellar.

Shoots in RAW, has a dial around the lens that you can program its function to most anything you would like. Has the same chip as the G11, so great image quality.

It also is terrific in low light, as it has an F2.0 lens, plus a special low light mode wheer it pixel shares, lower res, but bettre signal to noise.

By far the best small camera with sophisticated controls and options. The panasonic lx3/leica are a close second. Except don't like their lack of built in lens cover, zoom is a tad short, and lens is not as fast.
