What kind of Mount to use?

What type of mount do I need to get to take pictures like this. I would love to do a picture like this an one with a slose up of the front wheel while in a turn to give the fender and still look with the spokes and background in a motion blur.

I knew what this was going to be from the title.

You need an "invisible" arm, made of byryatric optic glass, very solid, shatterproof and lighter than CF. Issue is, cost is outrageous, aroun 25,000$/foot.

Well how about a good aluminum arm and a few hours in photoshop. Where can I get a good aluminum arm that mounts with strong suction cups to either the roof, trunk, or hood? I will just get ride of the arm (if it is even in the shot) with photoshop.

Keep in mind these are done at low speeds and long exposure. You won't be driving down the highway at 80mph with the camera hanging off!

Exactly. Most of the time you can just push the car and get the same effect. No need to go any faster than 5 MPH.

Actually, if you're really worried about it, get a buddy to walk next to the car/camera to catch it just in case.
