Anyone use a Canon T1i? The video feature is making me wonder if I should get rid of the 40D for it.

I know, it may sound weird going from the prosumer to entry-level but I originally bought the 40D for sports, which I seldom shoot now.

The T1i wouldn't be as bulky (perfect to lug around on the bike), don't think I'd miss the 6fps too much.

Other than that, not sure what to expect in terms of build or image quality ...

 

Sounds like it's a pretty decent camera for the kind of stuff you'd use it for. I mean, it's still a Canon so your pics will suck worse than Jox's but maybe you can make some halfway decent videos, right?

 

Well, it's gotta be Canon. I don't use any of those asian sub-brands cheapies.

(I actually prefer Nikon image quality, but no one around me has Nikon ...)
