How to Replace air filters for most MB models

Want to Replace your air filters on your Mercedes Benz with BMC filters or learn how to axcess them to clean them.

Step 1. Remove front plastic cover

Step 2. Remove the right and left side intake tubes

Step 3. There are four points where the Airbox clips on. Two in front that are pictured and two in the rear that can not be seen.

Step 4. Just lift the air box up and off the mounts

Step 5. Flip over the airbox and use a # T 25 torx to remove the four bolts that hold the cover in place.

Step 6. Remove lid and factory filter then replace with BMC filter.

Filter replacement continued

Step 7. replace cover with new filter and replace the four # T 25 torx screws repeat this for both sides this intake houses two filters left and right side just repeat the process

Step 8. Reinstall the air box on top of the motor. Reinstall the left and right side intake tubes. Then reinstall the final trim plastic snaps into place and you are finished.

interesting... these are so easy on older models. just clips and lift the filter. I hate how things just go backwards.
