I agree. And $9,100 for S-tronic is ridiculous. It's an Audi, not a Lamborghini. Even Porsche only makes customers pay around $3,300 for PDK.

It was explained to me that the S-tronic was developed totally within house specifically for the R8 rather than externally by a third party. This is the reason for the high cost, but I agree it seems high.
