There's just something appealing about a car so sporty yet so utilitarian at the same time.

What a wonderful example! Also the hatch makes the car look lower and sleeker. And one rule to the wagon (while there are some exceptions), it has to be German.

I can sorta see what you guys are saying. But the utilitarian part seems like overkill to me for 90% of the people. I can see it making sense for someone who's really into mountain biking or camping or other outdoor type stuff. But not for most who just drive to and from work and to the grocery store once per week.

I miss my 06 s4 avant that I sold 4 months ago. So much I found myself looking for them on eBay the other day. Like my q7 but it's no avant

Who else thinks Audi needs to make another RS2 Avant based on the upcoming RS4 Avant? Why don't they throw a flat 6 in there too while they're at it.

That would be the greatest sports wagon in history.

No, that would be called a Subaru Legacy wagon. Not everything "Porsche-fied" would be good.

The RS4 is the perfect all-rounder. I put in my inquiry with my buddy, but haven't heard back yet...

While I can agree that not everyting "Porsche-fied" would be good, the RS2 has to be considered one of the greatest wagons/hatches of its time. It's a truly classic car.

Because wagon are sexier than sedan's, fact.

I already saw 5 of them in my life, and in the flesh I can't tell how awesome it is, and that sound!

That exhaust note is too deep not to be the 4.2 v8. Maybe they'll put in a de-tuned 4.2 V8t found in the S8...one can only hope
