These cars are vastly different. Honestly when I try to combine them I come up with a 911 turbo s.

This is not even a question R8 all day. I daily drove mine in a 6MT and it was a pleasure.

Even when the new R8 comes out, they're going to have to do something aesthetically amazing to top the one thats out now. It'll be a long while, IMO, for the R8 to look dated. In 10 years from now I would still love the look of it.

R8 all the way... even if not a v10, v8 is just good enough!

i'm curious, did you not realize that your tranny had no clutch engagement? i mean mine is s-tronic so its almost auto-like smooth (maybe a little too smooth) but i can definitely feel the shifts when driving slowly and taking off

ha ha ha... yes of course, I'm well aware the 6 runs a TC, It's my greatest worry... after a few glasses of wine got my terminology messed up, S-tronic, R-tronic, Tiptronic all got a bit much.

I have had mine mapped a la R-tronic... shifts are quicker, change points raised from 6400 to 7200 on Auto changes and free to pull through to the limiter in Sport. Makes a BIG difference over std.

RS5 is much more of an everyday car than the R8.
