Question: Audi R8 V10 or RS5
#15
Strange grouping of cars to cross-shop.
The R8 is twice as expensive as the RS5.
The R8 is an exotic that you can drive everyday. The R-tronic is no DSG or PDK by any means, but its not "that" bad either.
R8. No question. Also I think it will be 3 maybe even 4 years before the new version goes on sale.

The RS6 has R-Tronic... and I have the R8 V10 map on mine.

The RS6 has a modified ZF 6HP26A six-speed tiptronic automatic transmission (parts code: 09E, identification code: KZQ or KZH)
Gear ratios:
1st: 4.171
2nd: 2.340
3rd: 1.521
4th: 1.143
5th: 0.867
6th: 0.691
The R8's R-tronic (same as lambo's transmission on the Gallardo) has a single clutch automated manual unlike the RS6 which has a conventional torque converter.
Give a call to MRC to confirm what I just said.
