Why an S4 over and A4 or A6/S6
#13
I've tried and it turns out that is illegal.
I was just reminded by my wife that when we last looked for her we thought the A4 variant was much too small.
I just don't get how it can be that much bigger inside with just 1.5" wheelbase length and 1" taller and 1.5" wider. I guess I really need to go seriously kick some tires.
That new Avant A6 looks cool in a wagon.
Interesting crazy on the gas mileage. Mini's claim 37 to 40 and I get 30 to 35 but that sounds like more than double.
I like to have one car that isn't a gas hog. Something I can go to Seattle in and still get decent gas mileage.

Honestly, you learn to forget about the gas mileage when you put your foot into it and feel the torque.

I've got enough fast cars though. That's not the point of it. I like the trim package of the S cars over the A's that's my issue. I definitely don't need more HP. If you don't know me I really really really like my Mini Cooper and the MASSIVE TORQUE Twin Turbo 180hp is plenty for me in that car.

A4's are slugs. Reason enough to pony up for an S. And yes I know you can tune the A4 to give it more oomph, but I shouldn't feel the need to modify a car to make it bearable to drive. And @Mark, I dunno about the B8's, but my B7 Avant was a 6 speed.

I'll put it in terms you can understand...
B7 is to B8 as 360 Modena is to F430...
