Who's that asshole? lol

I like my 4.2's. The B8 is fast no doubt, Mike Hood is gonna put the Eurocode B8 S4 shop car into the 11's this weekend, and Primetime out in Ohio is nearly there with a tune and a catback (12.22 iirc)...

but as others have said its more the experience. The sound of both my 4.2's is something slightly less than common. If it were only about speed, I'd have a DSM or an F-body.

The B8 S4 is great for sure, and is going to be fast with boltons; longtube headers, APR tune, some lightweight wheels (I see a lot of these guys insisting on running 20's ), a good catback like the FI, pulley, maybe a port job on the stock blower and some working over of the A-W cooling circuit should be 11's with a solid driver.

But just like K03's on a B5 S4 limit the ceiling, the TVS R1320 will do the same. For the B8 to move deep into the 11's someone will need to bolt on a bigger blower, maybe an R1650 but that's still smallish. With the motor pushed so far back I don't know if it would be possible to fit turbos up front (on top of the tranny like what is being done on the B6/B7 S4). Maybe a normal style intake manifold and a centripetal? Maybe a twin screw (what I'd want personally). It'll be interesting to see. The power is coming far easier than the V8's, but once you boost the V8... or build the V8?
