2010 Audi S4
So today I had some serious time behind the wheel of a 2010 Audi S4. So I thought I would share my opinion of this car. First I am a huge Audi fan. I have driven the B5, B6, and B7 S4s before this so I was excited to get behind the wheel and try it out.
First off, the thing looks amazing. Pretty big, a little too big IMO but still sexy. Black with the silver mirrors, the wheels, and LEDs all go together very well. I get into the drive seat and (this model) I'm in love with the interior. The color and stitching was perfect. I go to start the car but it's like the new VW, you put the key into the slot and you have to 'push' the key into the dash in order to start the car. (HATE that). Second the e-brake is also a button (Hate that also). But once all that is done the car is very easy to drive. Not a stiff clutch like a WRX but light and good engage point.
Once driving it is just a smooth of a ride as a A6. Handles good, brakes good, no complaints there. BUT once you hit the gas I feel there is no emotion no thrill. Yeah it goes, but there is no noise no excitement. That was a huge let down for me. The V6 twin turbo was you hit the gas wait wait and BOOOM you're off. With the V8 you hit the gas and listen to that V8 go and you're off. With this you hit the gas and yawn. Yeah the mph and rpms climb but it's steady and smooth, almost too steady and smooth.
I don't know if anyone hear has their own opinion but that's mine. For the price I would get a used RS4 anyday.

Yes it is very fast, when you look down you are at a unexpected high speed. Having driven both, I think the RS4 would win by a car length or two.

I think I'd actually take a 2010 S4.
That V6 will sound great with aftermarket exhaust, lower it a bit, and you have a great-looking, great-driving car that comes with a warranty.
