If I had to choose between those two cars, I would choose Audi too. However, for 60ish K I would be going M3 shopping. Maybe it's just me.

I would think the 335xi would be a better comparison. Both are V6 Forced Induction w/ All Wheel Drive.

This test is AWD vs RWD.

Either way pretty interesting. - I think I would take the 335 with the M Sport kit though over the S4

Yes, the new S4 beat the essentially-4-year old 3 series w/o an LSD. Isn't the S4 more $ anyway?

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to compare the 335 with the A4 3.2 and not the S4? Also, isn't the S4 a lot more expensive.

I believe a fully loaded 335xi is priced comparable to the S4

I just find it amusing that Audi put its heavyweight A class (S4) against BMW's middleweight 3 series. Lets put the M3 sedan up against the S4

Audi has cancelled the 3.2 in the A4 and instead, lowered the price on the S4.
Now you can choose between the A4 2.0T and if you want more power-the S4which starts at $45K. I have driven the 6 speed S4 and the 7 speed S-Tronic. The car is very impressive and the engine has serious tuning potential
