+ Gearbox, shifting point is at 4.5rpm not recommended more for breaking it in.

Hi guys, hello again from a rainy London!! And you wonder why so little miles! Thank you all for your comments.

Had a good read of the car manual it does have some instruction on run in. You guys are right that the engines are run in the factories to the red line. But for the first 2500 miles it recommends set rpms.......but as ive said lads the v10 did howl once or twice....

One of the best things is the down shift s with the paddles coming to a stop always makes me smile the little pops the car makes!

Hopefuly tomorrow will be sunny to give you guy s some panoramic pics of the car with roof down.

I originally was gona get a lambo G. But I'm happy I made the right choice. You see more gallardos in London than r8 spyders.

Oh ya Jon I love the retro black/red. Fantastic scheme and would rock that thing. Audi's have raised the bar to all manufactures imho. Beauty of a front end to say the least.
A little Black Red porn I wish I could add to my stable

Black suits the car. the menacing styling of the r8 is only helped by a black exterior.
