An introduction of sorts . . . (pics)
Well, some may know me from "other locations", but after only recently seeing a reference to this forum elsewhere, I'm diggin' it. So I thought I'd share a short intro:
About a year ago, I, unfortunately, sold my 993 C4 Cab. It was pretty much a garage queen, concours competitor, etc.
It was a sad day, but I knew then that I would eventually get into another Porsche. Initially, I intended to get into a 993 coupe for track fun. But that didn't pan out as I ended up getting in to a plane.
Well, less than a year later I began looking for a 997 C4S to make my daily, year-round driver. Although I had an order in on one, I ended up cancelling and looking for a used car, for various reasons. Well, I stumbled upon my next DD about a month ago and finally picked it up just a couple weeks ago.
I ended up getting a 2007 997 Turbo in Slate Grey and plan to drive the heck out of it. Although my 993 was babied, the 997TT will indeed be driven daily and year round.
Anyway, I realize I'm a newbie here, so hopefully I can still join in the reindeer games.
Anyway, here are the stats:
2007 Porsche 997 Turbo (5,000 miles)
Slate Grey Metallic
Black Full Leather
Adaptive Sport Seats
Axle-Differential Lock Rear
Heated Front Seats
Sport Chrono Package
Storage Compartment Lid W/Model Logo
Turbo Floor Mats - Interior Color
Exterior Package Painted
Standard Rocker Panels Painted
Painted Model Designation Rear Lid
Rear Center Console Painted Exterior Color
Trim Strip Painted Exterior Color
3M Clear Bra
Escort SR7/SRX Detector/Jammer (front/rear)
Plus the "standard" options on the Turbo (some of them):
Navigation
PASM
PSM
Bi-Xenon
Etc.
