Hi All: The dealer has asked me to spec the car. In particular, i would love your opinions on transmission type and color. Thanks.

Are you planning on keeping the car or re-selling it as soon you get it for a profit?

I would have gotten 6mt but if you are flipping it when you get it I would go for the lazy man tranny.

manual gearbox for sure. colorwise, i would do daytona or shadow.

Keeping it. Let me ask you, driving a 997GT3 now, will i enjoy the R8? Unfortunately, with 3 boys all under 5, don't get to the track a lot. Thanks

I know a gentleman who traded in his 997 GT3 on an R8 - he was ecstatic with the R8, said it was one of the best driving experience he's ever had. Also has/had CGT, GT2. For what it's worth!
