^^^i have to agree with you. i'd just be thrilled to find the rightful owner and reunite them.
i have returned someones wallet once and they offered to give me $500. i never took it. i was just happy that they could have their stuff back without worrying about where there credit cards might be, their personal info, etc.

Thanks guys, I was a little surprised that he took the money too. The irony is that I had read about a story where a guy was recently arrested for ripping $10,000 out of someone by purposefully kidnapping a family pet. And then this happened to me. Talk about your greatest ironies in life. I'm just happy that I got Tahoe back. She's doggone tired now.
