^^^i have to agree with you. i'd just be thrilled to find the rightful owner and reunite them.

i have returned someones wallet once and they offered to give me $500. i never took it. i was just happy that they could have their stuff back without worrying about where there credit cards might be, their personal info, etc.

I would never take $$ for returning someone's family pet. A thank you and knowing I did good is enough. If someone really appreciated the gesture, a gift cert to a nice restaurant would do.

Glad to see Tahoe is safe and at home. That was an expensive vacation she took there. You can't put a price on losing a member of your family though. Whew, what a relief!

Thanks guys, I was a little surprised that he took the money too. The irony is that I had read about a story where a guy was recently arrested for ripping $10,000 out of someone by purposefully kidnapping a family pet. And then this happened to me. Talk about your greatest ironies in life. I'm just happy that I got Tahoe back. She's doggone tired now.

So glad to see a happy ending to this story.
Our three cats are our children,...I can certainly empathize.

That is a great picture, it really shows how happy you are to have her back. Congrats, make sure you keep that collar on her from now on!
