Cancelling my deposit on the 1199

It's been a love HATE relationship for me with my 2008 1098 S. I've done track days, street rides you name it. My feeling is these bikes are designed to take a beating...2 months out of warrranty only 5,550 miles on it and a connecting rod goes. 4,200 bucks later and I have a rebuilt motor. Now, the radiator has gone which apparently was an issue and they never did a recall. Also with the precious owner the the rear break seized up at speed. From what I've read Ducati is not a company of customer service (which is sad for what you pay for the dam things). However....there is NOTHING like riding a ducati hard and fast around a track. The sounds and feel alone are unmatched. Right now I have a very bad taste in my mouth with Ducati but down the road I will probably have to get the 1199. If any of you watched the World Supertock races from Imola then you will see that the already have a sick package. I feel bad for the competition when that thing make it to World Superbike. I will be going back to a Jap bike or BMW next, I would think about Aprilla but from what I've heard they have a very small window for setup....plus I never see them at the track. Not the best sign...

I think I'm pretty much screwed. IDK many guys who have gone from a Twin back to a I4. I'd love a Priller but there are NO dealers around local. So that's out.
Just love the twin thump. The Triumph Daytona is a I3 and sounds nice with the proper exhaust... I bet it rides nice....

Daytona is nice my buddy who works for my partner and has the MV had a 675 Daytona and he loved it.
