I say get the 1199. Give it a try, let us know what happens. I want to live vicariously through you, as I can't pull the trigger on a motorcycle that I have to spend as much tinkering with as I do riding it

A friend of mine is a regional service rep for Ducati. I think he is in NOLA testing the 1199 on track right now. He has been saying some great things about it. I just realized, if you need any help with dealers, let me know and maybe this guy can get in touch with the rep for your region.

I rode an RC8, and it felt like riding a snowblower, very lackluster engine. It would benefit hugely from an exhaust.
But the handling was by far more intuitive than the Duc's!
