Speed Triple is a great bike but why another Naked bike?

I am a pretty tall guy and it's been my history that sportys are a bit tight for me. I have not tried the BMW yet, it's a beast! I had a deposit on a MV Brutalle until I borrowed my clients. I could not get comfortable, weird head angle, seating postition was to forward for be to be comfortable.

If anyone has suggestions, bring 'em.

Guys, don't drink too much of the BMW Kool-Aid. Technically speaking, and on paper, it's the best bike in it's class. Doesn't mean anything if you are not comfortable riding it. Also, they are not bringing home any WSBK titles. I have nothing against the bike, and have even considered getting one. Overall it's a great package, especially for the price. But a bike that engages YOU while riding it, is better than the best bike on paper.

I agree 100%.
I also think the new Daytona 675R is drop dead gorgeous and a lot of bike for the money. But who knows how it rides.

Dunno about the Daytona, but I rode a Street Triple briefly ... I was bored after 3mins. For all the hype about the amazing engine and playfulness ... what a disapointment. Although I was coming off the Duc', so take it with a grain of salt.

I think I'm pretty much screwed. IDK many guys who have gone from a Twin back to a I4. I'd love a Priller but there are NO dealers around local. So that's out.

Just love the twin thump. The Triumph Daytona is a I3 and sounds nice with the proper exhaust... I bet it rides nice....
