Well either I blew a fuel line or toasted the motor that one time I went to the track with it a quart low on oil It stopped and dumped a bunch of gas on the road. Autopsy tonight, we'll see.

Ouch, hope its something repairable.

On the upside, I took my bike out of hibernation today. The rubber on my valve stem had cracked and the tire was almost flat. Super glued the shit out of it and it appears to be holding air well. That ought to do until I can take a ride into town and get it repaired. Possibly with new tires.

Anybody have any recommendations for good, grippy street tires for canyon carving? I've got pilot powers on there now and they have been good to me, but I know the design is dated, we've got dual and triple compound tires out now!

Love love love my BT 016s! Good enough for 90% of riders out there on the track, but 3 compounds mean they get pretty good mileage on the street too.

I love my Road2 but they're probably too tame for your twisties. The first curve being 1-2h away I need the touring spec.

Sean, hope you're kidding. you're scaring the crap out of me right now. You could run a RC to 100,000 miles on low oil with no issues.

Honda's are bullet proof.

I bet it's the fuel line fitting that connects to the fuel tank. I haven't ridden it since I took the tank off to replace a grommet in there.
