Ducati Motorcycles and MV Agusta Motorcycles from Pro Italia

I have gotten into my fair share of trouble there. Bought both of my Ducatis and my MV Agusta from there. Great people and a cool Italian bike shop. Doesn't help that i'm just a few miles away from them.

Quote: Dana is the man. Who else quits their job, and goes out to buy a Ducati shortly after. I need to step my game up. When I quit my job to start my own company I went to the grocery store and bought Lean Cuisine (only $2.49 each).
I am in a fit of grief and don't know what I am doing! Wait until you see what's next!!

Here's to hoping you find yourself in more trouble there! Looks like a great shop.

I almost bit on the Brutale a couple years ago, but my legs were just too long for it. I couldn't get my leg under the curve of the gas tank. I haven't been on the 08 though... do you know if the erg's have changed to accommodate taller riders at all? Not that 6'1" is all that tall...

I had the same issue with the Brutale (also 6'1). I have looked at them over and over and the ergos just don't fit me. It would be annoying on any ride over 10 minutes. I don't know if they have changed anything in the last few years, but my Monster was much more comfortable.

I just called Spectrum Motorsports in Irvine. They are a big Ducati dealer in my area. They have all three colors - red, white and matte black - in stock and are asking $10,200 out the door. They will deliver the bike to my house for $75 more so that I don't kill myself getting it home.

Now my dilemma is that I also want to get a new suspension system for my 997TT at a cost of about $12,000 (the whole enchilada with KW V3 coilovers GT3 control arms, sway bars, etc.). My wife won't let me get both the suspension and the bike (I know - I'm whipped). What should I choose??

Call 1-800-CC-Rider and sign yourself up for the training course. It's well worth it.

I previously owned a Monster S4R so I can say that Monsters are great bikes. The one issue that might be off-putting for a beginner is the throttle response on a Ducati; it is very abrupt. I'm sure it is better on a 696, but I'm sure it will still be there.

Let me know if you ever want to go for a ride. I'm picking up the Streetfighter when it comes out.

You have the cage, now you need the bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to be well rounded. Its a new day brother, you're stepping out on your own, might as well have a bike that signifies that.
