2014 Corvette Stingray Breaks Cover

A worthy attempt by Chevy but this is a total miss. The new Corvette is like the ugly girl who got plastic surgery and is pretty now but still can't shake off her ugly past.
The Chevy designers (or American car designers in general) still don't understand what passion or flare is. They are dinosaurs compared to the European automakers.

It's a shame because the C6 has so few design elements that the car is bold. It relies on its proportions, short overhangs, and overall width to look badass on the road. It's really sad because this car has a great silhouette but there are too many "bling" pieces on it for me to like it.

I understand you, but you also must understand me. European designers have one design language, American designers have other. Now Americans are trying to mix those two languages. Personally I dont like that. I dont like that Vette is trying to be American F12. I wanted to see Vette that have elements from past models designed in contemporary American language. I hope you get my point.
Look at the beauty posted on photo below. Its pity that they couldnt recognize very valuable lines in their past cars & incorporate them in new one. Thats why Ferrari & other European car makers are so desirable. Its hard to take something from past & make it like new, but that is the right way to make recognizable & iconic cars.

Though some of us may not be happy with the latest iteration of the beloved Corvette with the aftermarket support such as bodykits, performance upgrades and wheel/tire combinations that are sure to develope the possibilities are endles!!
Emmo crying in the background...."Give the new 'Vette a chance!!!! .....Leave the new Corvette alone!!! "
