New 2013 Shelby GT500
#13
Just completed 400 miles on it in total... Was on the highway, 3rd gear, cruising at about 60 miles per hour, down-shifted to 2nd, with half throttle, and the car just went into a DRIFT to the next lane, till I eased of the throttle and went up to 3rd again!!! GOD DAMN beast! My previous car was a 2012 991S and before that a 2011 GT3 and before that a 2009 M3, and none come even close to this car... I'm on the brakes all the time!!! It's just a monster!

Porsche is not the end all be all in sports cars It all depends on what you're looking for.

Owning a certain car isn't a "destination", it's a journey... In fact I drove the 991S for 280 kms only and sold it cause I found it boring, being my fourth 911, and thought it was time for something completely different... My second car growing up was an '84 mustang GT, during my first year in college in '85... I've owned many cars since, Alfa Romeos, Renault, couple of ferraris, BMWs, a few 60s muscle cars, etc... And I have 6 bikes with 2 on the way... You cannot see the Shelby, and not want one... I won't throw reviews on all those cars, but I will tell you one thing, of all the cars I owned, the GT3 was the easiest to drive and push to the limits, and the Shelby to scariest... And taming a scary car like the Shelby would surely be one hell of a journey
besides looking so cool, and being one of only 3 Shelbys in town, while e number of Porsche posers in totally endless
