I am a truck guy. My Supercrew Raptor is my 6th Ford truck. All I can say is that it's my daily driver and it's truly bad ass. Only buy the Supercrew though. The rear is incredibly spacious and once you get use to it you wonder how you got along without one all your life.

Thanks for the input, fellas. I appreciate the suggestions for other trucks, but I said it and meant it:

I'm not interested in Chevy's, Toyotas or suped-up 'regular' F-150's.

Good point. But I think I'd rather have to climb to get kids in and out rather than croutch and kill my back. Dunno, guess neither is ideal. My wife's MB SUV is at a perfect height, but I don't want a stinkin' SUV

Yeah, I was surprised at how much room was in the cabin. When I think truck, I picture cramped space with a single bench seat.

Now because I am biased, I have to suggest a Taco

Love Toyota trucks. They don't get enough love around here. Those taco's are awesome

Funny thing is my buddy is looking for one. There are some really bad-ass setups out there. Still.....only the Raptor for me. I'll just leave THIS here.

No doubt. I had a 06 Lariat super crew until about a year and a half ago. The back seat had far and away more leg room than any other truck. My neighbor had a Dodge Ram MEGA cab, and it wasnt even close.

The only downside to my truck was the lack of power. At 300hp, it was severly underpowered. Id love to pick up a Raptor.

My daily routine for the last year was load that back seat area with my tri-bike, cooler, cycling bag, and my run bag. I would refer to it as my apartment. No other truck is as spacious as these new Fords.

If you're going to offroad it, I say go for it. If not, its overkill for the streets. There are plenty of other options out there that will be more entertaining. Please note, I'm not knocking Fords, as my 04 Lighting was one of the few cars I regret selling.

The Raptor is awesome. As previously state it's probably overkill for the streets and highway cruising may be a bit of a challenge due to the short gears.

I have had a number of Ford trucks and the only issues I've ever had have been related to smashing a half ton Chevy which ran a red light in front of me. I've always enjoyed having a truck (nice knowing not much on the road is larger than your vehicle) and I think you will always be able to find uses for it.

If I were going to own a half ton truck, this would be the one.

Because they are more like toys than trucks
