2005 FORD GT "SONIC BLUE" One of None Collector
#11
Low Mile MSO cars seem to be in the asking range of 200k from what (little) I have seen. I could see it going in the Heritage price range and up - so $250k is not unrealistic in fact I would bet there is someone willing to pay that. Not sure it is worth more than a Heritage to me personally, or more than other colors as I'm not wild about it. I will be interested to see what it will go for...

Yeah. $190-210,00 is going rate for low miled FGT's like cstoked said. Heritage has been up to $220-240,000. Considering this is 1 of a kind, with low miles, $250-275,000 doesn't seem too crazy.
I don't think it's priced that high because of the color, it's just because of it's rarity. Only 1 Sonic Blue ever created, collectors go crazy over stuff like that.

^Amen.
You can have one or the other, but not both. It does not matter how well you care for this car, that odometer starts going up and the value is going to drop.
Compared to other places you can park 200 grand, I don't think this will be a good investment after you factor in storage/insurance and then the cost/headache associated with getting it to perfect running condition once it's time to sell.
I can see them as an investment. Certain models are bound to appreciate in value and would make a solid decision to sell later on. I would still drive them, enjoy them, and just keep them in pristine condition via detailing, protective wraps, and regular maintenance.
edit: worth multi-millions might be a little ambitious
