This will be one wild machine! Ford is really impressing me lately!

In regards to the turbochargers vs. superchargers debate, I just have one question: Has anybody on here heard of this one car called a Buick Regal Grand National?

Definitely non-traditional, but if the GT500 owners thought swapping pulleys added power, just wait until they see how easy it is to install a boost controller or add larger turbos. Hopefully the engine will have a strong bottom end.

that's the one thing im not too concerned about. the bottom end on the FGT is nigh on indestructible and the GT500's seem to be doing alright as well. BPU mods would be pretty fun on something like this.

Guys, turbos have been used before on muscle cars (ie Grand National) so I see no problem at all with a twin turbo V8 if it actually happens.

Well.

Ford certainly outdid themselves showing up chevy.

At one side, I'm incredibly sad because now i have even LESS of a reason to buy a camaro.

And on the other side, I can barely believe a mustang is going to have 650 horsepower. I mean I doubt it'll be able to hold down all that horsepower, but still that's pretty impressive. Hopefully it'll take a corner half decently as well.

Actually, to be honest I'm more hoping that the camaro ZL1 is godlike at cornering so I don't have to drive up next to someone with that GT500 at a stop light and feel totally embarassed.

Very impressed with the strides Ford has made across its entire product line, all without the help of a government bailout. This is the first Mustang I could actually see myself buying.

I bet this is a 5.4 or 5.8L V8 with an Eaton TVS supercharger. /thread
