No, it does not, any more than a Lotus or Caterham or Atom does. It was always intended to be a relatively light, hugely powerful driver's car. If they're smart, they won't follow Ferrari, et al, down the path of electronic numbing nonsense.

But y'know, I really don't care, a Viper's a Viper. Everyone in America will idolize it nonetheless.
With the Ultimate Aero in a whole different class and the Ford GT and S7 not sold anymore, the Viper is truly the only American supercar being sold right now. (Your idea of a supercar may be different than mine btw, I don't consider a Z06 a supercar)

They were used as examples of a design ethos, not a direct comparison.
Because it already is better, in many ways. That's the point. While the Viper has its faults, none of them are from a lack of electronic nanny nonsense.
The viper DOES directly compete with the other supercars in the world, so why not try to make it better than them?
