2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Officially Revealed

Schwabe I know how much you love P cars and your distain for american cars, but come on. You HAVE to give Credit where Credit is due. The 4 door can do circles around the gigantic Panny (and I actually like the panny after I drove a fully loaded Turbo), so the 2 door with its enhancments will being doing the killing brother. I know you'll probably rebute with claims or fit and finish or looks (remember the panny isn't exactly the best looking car on the road either), but you and I both know the Panny is not going to do any killing of a CTS-V anytime soon (until maybe some tuners get ahold of it).

No kidding... It literally looks like someone took the sedan in photoshop, created a layer with just the 1/3 of the car, and used free transform to shrink it... Then just brushed out the rear door sils and handle.

I'd love to have that or the 4dr CTS-V, I think both of them are awesome.
As far as the Pcar being faster around the ring than the CTS-V, I wouldn't expect anything less out of it - how much more does it cost? 2.5 times? However, when it comes to styling department, Panamera falls right on it face; although I know that's subjective point of view, and someone else might think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Money aside; if a client can afford either a Panny Turbo or a CTS-V; I bet maybe 1 out of 300 Panny's a client would choose a CTS-V.
The car maybe fast; but this arguement has been proven over and over again- clients choose QUALITY over FAST/HP almost any day of the week.
It ain't all 'bout 'FAST' fellers. It's how you get there that counts. Especially for the client who can afford either car.

If Cadillac were to build TRUE German car-killers; Zee Germans would be in big trouble. But since I think the Apocolypse would come before GM actually pulls its head from its buttocks- that day isn't going to happen.
(btw- I'd love to be proven wrong here!)

^ you're right Chris... The day that any domestic auto maker puts out a high-horsepower, well balanced, and well made car the Germans will have something to worry about. The problem is anybody that knows cars has been programed by decades and decades of abuse to assume that any domestic car was built with shortcut after shortcut under the skin.

^ Customers obviously value quality, as I do, but apparently they don't value looks, and to me that ass-shot needs to be perfect (panny, not so much)
I'd buy an M5 over the sedan CTS-V and the panny
I'd buy a 911 over m6 and m6 over cts
anyways, I don't know what my point was... :?
