I was liking it up to the point when they said it costs $50k. It looks and sounds great, but really is an underachiever for what it has in the way of hp. 540 hp and 12.4/116 qtr mile are numbers that do not add up correctly. A new base model Vette similarly optioned, costs around $50k, offers similar (if not better) acceleration, and will destroy the GT500 in the handling department. There is no value proposition in this vehicle at $50k. Maybe at 40k.......maybe.
