I'm in Ashburn now. I'll definitely link up so you can drown your sorrows...
Seasonal changes only sound good on paper and in greeting cards. Going from 60 degree winters to -5 degree winters will change your mind rapidly.

Can anyone else secretly attend their get-together and tape it? I want to see 2 Rambo looking dudes cry like little girls.
We have some Texas guys working with us right in Montreal, and they are rolling on the floor when they see what's generally referred to as "good mexican food" around here.

I'm in Great Falls, not too far away, but I agree in the lack of authentic mexican especially compared to HB, Cal, most of the semi-edible mexican places are in DC, got a laundry list of some dive-type authentic places if you are looking.
What type of BD sector? public private gov contracting?
The one big upside to moving out here is the ability is the whole firearm part.

I too live in Ashburn and I think this entire county lacks good food period! I have not been to a "great" restaurant, let alone a "good" restaurant in Loudoun County. To be fair, my wife and I generally won't go farther west than Lansdowne. Spend most of our time in Fairfax County still. We're looking to get out of here now...had enough of "drive 30+ minutes to get to anywhere". Our kid's school is not even in this county. Often ask myself why we moved out this way. Was kinda cool two years ago, when we wanted to get away from FFX Co, but now it just got old. Every Harris Teeter I've been to in Ashburn is so empty and often wonder when they'll shut down. Even the Home Depot in Ashburn is so empty I wonder how they stay in biz. Upside, houses are cheap. We decided, screw our down payment, we're out of here. No upside for us in this county. If your kids go to public schools, I hear we have pretty good schools but you still have to drive out a ways to get good food.
