No phantom F1s - I find this whole scenario extremely unlikely. Burden of proof is on him though as I can't prove something doesn't exist but he should certainly be capable of proving it does.

I'd heard a similar rumor too - interesting to see you repeating it.

Massive jump in price then in just the past two years if that's a selling price and not just an asking price. What is also surprising is the number of cars that have changed hands recently - that would typically not correlate with a great rise in prices.

I do think about the owners who got in between $1M-$2M USD who still have their cars and wonder if they'll be tempted to sell and take the profits?
