No offence taken , was just a little odd as I dont know you from Adam . No harm done .
Yes that is the car I saw .
Since then I have added several Porsches to my pit but the most important is my Brumos 73 RSR , which cost me a lot more than the big fish unfortunately ...
Yes that is my Carrera GT . I am not sold on the P1 or the 918 ( although I am lucky to have seen both and am still technically a buyer ) but am looking at them both very carefully . They change positions in my mind every couple of days with the 918 currently higher in my rankings . I think with the added comfort , the removable roof etc it is probably a car I can use more and get more out of . It sounds like the new Ferrari and the P1 are perhaps too track focused . I mean to say who wants a car that is so much faster than everyone else on a trackday ? That would be boring .

It's all about pushing the limits. Not sure about F70 yet, but they're making P1 as good a usable road car as also a very fast track car. Visibility out of it will be excellent compared to other supercars, with the deep windscreen and transparent roof panels, and if you want to you can set everything to Automatic and just cruise. A lot of praise has already been heaped upon the 12C's setup for the road comfort and ride compliance it provides when not pushing things, and I believe McLaren will expand upon these all-rounder abilities further with the P1.

I don't see how having the fastest car over everyone else by a significant margin and being able to set massive new lap records if your skills are good enough could be boring..

I don't think you need to try and educate him on the car based on what you have read on the internet.

Crank and Piston took the McLaren P1 App to Dubai, UAE on a big scale, and got creative with it.
The results are pretty cool:-

I'm thinking they could have used Photoshop or something similar to erase the parts of the white sheet visible underneath the P1 digital model, but apart from that they've done a really good job.

Even though they won't make production, I like the different nostrils here as they give the P1 an even sharper, more purposeful and aggressive look IMO.
