The upgrades are for more HP, remote passenger door opening+exhaust note sounds really exciting. Cannot wait to have done on my car. Way to go McLaren.

Can't understand all the positive comments on this: they shouldn't have released the car in the first instance with all the bugs and issues, then they add 20 hp or whatever to a car that's a missile and doesn't need it. Just another press release for them.

Not impressed with them at all. The car, on the other hand is no doubt a fast piece of kit.

 

good point Josh. i'm with u half on this. the IRIS system is still not working. paid huge tag for it that's not even optional. however, at least they're doing something. it's better than not doing anything at all. that, i respect. it's not perfect & it will never be. but i can tell u it's a blast to drive.

looking at the bright side, at least they're not calling it a limited MP4-12CS.

 

What bugs or issues would have prevented them from launching the car? This isn't Ferrari. This is truly the first time McLaren is producing a volume car. You can't seriously expect the car to be perfect at time of launch. BTW...SAT/NAV not working isn't preventing the car from being driven. It is an amazing drive!
