alot of pressure is on the new Mclaren Beast

 

I have heard that it will be launched at this years Monaco Grand Prix. So if it's slightly before or during, then it's only about 1 month to go.

 

Probably next month in Monaco, but it's only speculation. Anyway, this mule looks very close from production. It's based on the definitive model, so the model will be launched this year.

 

Looking forward to the upcoming comparison test of the Ferrari F70, McLaren P12, Porche 918 Spyder and Pagani Huuyyurauyra.

 

Anyone got any GOOD renderings of what this beast might look like?

 

just spoke to my friend who placed my preorder and he confirmed the Monaco GP unveiling or private viewing with delivery for 2013. so far my arrangement is if the car is around 700-800k and not extremely ugly, i am not cancelling my preorder. (or unless i have some unexpected financial difficulties)

it is such a tough choice: i have considered the Huyura and it is a bit tooo pricey and sold out for a while, also imho this car is a solid looking GT, so i'd rather get it in convertible flavour. the porshe 918 is just NO. and the f70 will be priced up there in the 1.5 mil range or so it seems.
anyway looks like i can get my Big Mac in the first batch, and this triggered my decision, i hate to wait. i hope it has a roofscooup and looks out of this world! my dreams were crushed a tiny bit when i learned it would not be a 3 seater though... damn you Mclaren marketing/sales department for that one!!

 

Sounds awesome Quickie, I understand your choice and probably would have done the same in your place. I don't think you can go wrong with a McLaren halo car

i have no additional info. i have placed my preorder a looong time ago with a friend so i hope to get one of the first cars (just like i did with the aventador, u have to take a leap of faith ). f1mc was always my dream car.

now i am all exited again! i hope finally i will see a car which wil make me loose sleep for months! i cant wait to start speccing it! i like to have different color combos in my garage, so for now i am considering: matte orange, matte blue (but not like the cheap wraps, the paint has a deeper color) or maybe gulf livery? i love matte, but problem is u cant repair the paint easily and it sort of wears off, and since this is a car i am planning to keep a while i might skipp on matte.
now i have to make sure i earn alot this year since after spending some time around "top marques monaco" i caught that itch (i am talking about the unexplicable and completely irrational desire to make a financially unreasonable decision and blow all spare cash on a new toy) again.
