As I understand it, the car shown in Paris will still be referred to as a concept and be about 90% complete and ready for production. Visually it will probably be pretty spot-on to what people will end up being able to purchase, but as the development is on-going up to the point that production begins there could be some minor changes after it is seen for the first time.
No dealer has taken an order yet because there is nothing to order at this point. They have certainly started talking to clients about their potential interest though - that is correct.
During the Pebble Beach weekend several VIPs were given a preview of the car via a slideshow on an iPad held by one of the employees at McLaren Special Operations.
