To order or not to order?

Spending that much money on anything I would want it built to my specifications without a doubt. If they don't have one that is close to what you are looking for and you feel it is a car you would keep a while then for sure I would suggest ordering one.
Now, if you tend to flip cars pretty often then perhaps you'd learn to love what they have to offer. Volcano Red is an incredibly popular color - I've not heard one person say they didn't like it. I like it and I don't even generally prefer the color red.
Best of luck in making your choice and enjoy the car!

I made my mind up for the Volcano Red, but now my wife would like me to wait for the Spider. Which is what I'm probably am going to do.
The in stock cars were offered at MSRP which I thought is fair, since some dealers ask a premium over sticker.
Eric told me that they have several deposits on the Spider, but he would get me one of the earlier ones. He wants us to buy the car we like. Not because it happens to be in stock. Here are some pictures of the cars in Philly. The Volcano Orange was an ordered car.

I was at the dealership in Palo Alto, CA a couple days ago. Watched a couple take delivery of a VR one. Damn good looking car. They had the other red, orange and silver on the sales floor. I am not a big orange guy but that is by far the best looking there in my opinion.

The red F1 in the garage looked pretty good too

As always, I am here to answer any questions someone may have concerning information/purchasing a MP4-12C. I wanted to clarify a comment made by @sennafan earlier. All McLaren North American stores will have some similarities. All North American stores will have an XP-13 rolling chassis, a Heritage Race Car (not replica), and two MP4-12C's. 1 12c is for static showroom effect and the second to conduct demonstrations. All stores have different policies when it comes to demonstrations. Part of the ideals set forth by McLaren North America is to put the driver behind the wheel. They want the customer to touch and feel the vehicle. Everyone who has experienced the vehicle has filled out a post drive survey which in turn is sent directly to Woking. You've seen direct results from the survey. It took McLaren two weeks to fix the door release delay in the initial batch of European vehicles. All of my staff whether it's Kevin, Richard, Sandy, Erik, or Lee is definitely capable of helping with the decision process. If anyone happens to be in the Philadelphia area and would like to stop in, just give us a heads up and I will make sure that I am available to speak!
