Those were two that I could think of. There was also an owner who raced his Enzo against his F1. In his words, the Enzo didn't stand a chance.
...there it is.

Wanted to share the newest piece of my F1 memorabilia collection with those who are also passionate about the cars. Below is the rarely seen but much talked about TAG Heuer watch that was included with the purchase of each McLaren F1.
The version that came with the cars was slightly different as it had 'McLaren Cars' and the chassis number for the car it went with etched onto the face, but was otherwise identical to the one I have. The band is leather with a braid embossed into it. Frankly I do not prefer watches with leather bands at all, but it is undeniably a very classy combination.
Over the years I have only seen a small handful of these come up for sale and I've never been in the position to purchase one. In 2007 a gentleman on FerrariChat found a buyer at a price of $5,000 for one he had obtained.
Thankfully I was able to pay a considerable percentage less than his price for mine. Still, I certainly never planned to spend such a large amount of money on any watch - I generally use my iPhone to see what time it is
- but when the opportunity presented itself for me to add this to my F1 collection it was simply too good to pass up.
An interesting thing about the owner's version of the watch is that a lot of the original F1 owners have chosen to keep them and not passed them along at the time the car changed hands so there are more than a few current F1 owners out there who do not have the watch that goes with their car. For that reason alone I feel very fortunate to have found this one as I know there are owners out there who would love to get their hands on one of these.
Over the years McLaren have handed out these non-owner's versions as gifts to various employees for milestone anniversaries or exceeding the scope on important projects which kind of explains how I was able to obtain mine. Enjoy the pics!

Not the best shot, but if you look closely here you can see Rowan Atkinson wearing his as he belts himself into the passenger seat of his F1 at the Goodwood circuit.

Quentin Wilson makes mention of the watch included with the car in his program on the F1 called "The Car's The Star" from the late 1990s. I host the whole show in four parts on YouTube but you can see the relevant portion from this link:

Incidentally, one letter of authenticity I have seen for the watch claims that there were just 300 examples made.
