Like many things found on ExoticSpotter, that info is false.
That is chassis #068 and the photo was taken February 6th, 2006 in Costa Rica. The person who actually took that photo and a few others I have was the personal mechanic of the McLaren F1 owner. Here's a couple more from the day out with the F40.
I don't know what possesses some people to add fake spots to ExoticSpotter.com but I've debunked at least half a dozen of them over the years.

Here's the original gas station shot pre-editing.
The gentleman in the center of the photo was the F1's owner at that time. I met him and went for a ride in the car in Monterey in August 2005 before he took the car home to Costa Rica. The car was sold again in 2009, coming back to the USA, and has been sold twice again since then.
