wow... that's different!
Any back story to go with that?
Here's a pic of #009 from the 1997 Melbourne Motor Show. This was when it still wore its original silver paintwork, before the infamous accident.
Sorry about the poor quality, but it's from a scan I did a while ago. Must dig out the original negs from my archive and rescan them. I took PLENTY of pics of it. I also have a number of pics of it since its respray, when exhibited at the Melbourne Grand Prix and also the inaugural Motorclassica event last year. Sadly, it wasn't there this year (I heard that they don't allow repeat visits for 4 years or so).
Cheers, Dish.
*bugger... pic's link isn't working in here for whatever reason. Anyone got any tips for using ImageShack here? Works for other forums I use, but not this one!

Yes - but those are post crash photos of #009. The photos Dish apparently has in his archive were taken much earlier in its life before this happened:

Here's some of what Dish probably has to offer:

Hopefully his shots are larger/better/different. An interior shot would be nice to see too as it would give an idea of whether there were any big changes on the inside during the repairs.
= = = = =
Dish - I'd suggest using Photobucket to host your photos instead of Imageshack. The 'shack tends to have some unfavorable popup ads associated with the content they host which is why several message forums block their URL. If you find it a struggle, or want to share something larger than 1024x768 you can email them to me and I'll host them for everyone.
Incidentally, the car above in the purple glow you asked about is #068 taken back in 2007 in the special garage built for the car by it's then Costa Rican owner. The car had some purple bands of leather stitched into the folds of the driver's seat and so the owner chose to add purple neon lighting to the soffit above the car. With the rest of the lights off in the garage, and a long exposure on the camera that was the result. Here it is from another angle, clickable for hires. :c
