Well normally silver cars are the most difficult as they all look very much the same and there are quite a few of them. Mr Chambers has done something very helpful to make his silver F1 look unique by adding a 'McLaren F1' decal to the lower section of the luggage door on each side. It's a small detail, but one that allows his car to be immediately recognizable now.



A lot of F1s have subtle or not so subtle clues like this that allow a quick and easy identification. I did recently see a video of an F1 that I could not identify but after staring at photos of them for more than a decade now that doesn't happen very often.
