Hey Peloton, have you had anything to do with McLaren cars? Like do they know you exist as knowing probably more about the things than most of them do?

Nothing I'd call official, but they did send me a birthday present this year.

They are keenly aware of my existence and I got a rather unexpected warm welcome from them recently in Monterey. Good things seem to be happening, that's as much as I can commit to.

The creation of the Owner's Club was originally shared with me in confidence by a McLaren Executive during the Monterey weekend. It took a little while for the news to become official and for me to be given permission to publish it. That didn't come from McLaren though - I had been speaking directly with Ray at that point as the Owner's Club is really his thing with them supporting it.

They closed down Newbury st in Boston last night, lots of other cool cars. More on my flickr. Jon, I doubt it. I'm probably going to FoNE show.
