Lancia Stratos Revival Officially Dead

I disagree. Too much money involved to do all of that on their own. Scuds are quit good why not take the top off and re-body it? Seems a simple solution.

It has been done in the past. The original Lancia Stratos Rally car used their own chassis with Ferrari motors. The Lancia Delta Integrale Rally car as well as this Giorgetto Guigaro Lancia Theme 8.32 sedan. They were all on their own chassis with sourced motors.

I think they just didn't have the positive responses they wanted. Economy? Price? I know for 700k I'd have a ton of other things first tho I've always thought they were awesome.

I'm not saying they aren't qualified. Not at all. I think they just were taking the major engineering out. Who knows.

In my opinion i believe that it's a shame to destroy a car like 430 Scuderia to make another (in that case Stratos). If you want to make something like this just take a simple F430 or 360 and transform it into a Stratos. By destroying such a wonderful car like 430 Scuderia it's at least a stupidity..
