Born & raised in the bay area buddy

You can register a vehicle as non operational and not have to worry about the tags. You can also own the title and not officially register it if it's not going on the road for some time (signed title transfer only). Most of my half dozen or so muscle cars came home in boxes so I became rather familiar with this process.

My first thought is that if it was a sealed building, there wouldn't be that much dust settlement...
