Also will get better MPG then 11 hwy.
This.

I buy a new ///M car almost every year. The E60 M5 is a blast on the freeway (that motor is excellent) but the newer M3's are night and day better.

For $50k you can get a great E92 M3.

I couldn't agree more! Don't forget: the basic engine is the same both in the m3 and in the m5. I really would go for a very nice M3 (competition) with DCT just because of the gearbox! Yes, M5 + Meisterschaft is a win-win-combo, but with a good aftermarket exhaust the M3 will sound awesome too!

as for the M5 love the V10 Motor and the car is clean, major service was recently done, so fresh fluids

some minor or little scratches that the dealer will fix

thought of the Cadillac CtsV though faster and a newer model 09

im loving the Bimmer more !!
How about an E63 bro?
Not such a huge fan of the CTS-V. damn quick and thats about it.
M5 should be a fun car btw, get an exhaust system and start scaring people in tunnels

I have a few friends here with M5's, don't hear them complain much about the car. Treat the car right it treats you back right as they say.

M5 i'd say is a reasonable car, has the power and has the space as well. Let us know 7abeebi what you get! and show us some pictures too!

SMG is G-D awful had a 5 series in 2005 with that thing... other then that M5 is probably the most brilliant saloon ever made, maybe throw S8 in as well.
