Spied: BMW M135i Testing On The Nürburgring

BMW fires back at the Mercedes A25 AMG we showed you earlier in the week.

Our trusty Teamspeed spies catch BMW testing the new M135i at the ring today, basically undisguised, wearing only a minimal amount camouflage tape. This aggressive looking hatch will surely be tough competition for rivals Mercedes-Benz and Audi.

Power will come from the N55 6-cylinder inline engine delivering some 320 + horsepower, and BMW M boss Friedrich Nitschke, just confirmed that the M135i will be offered with AWD as an option as well.

Stay tuned for more details soon!

What exactly are they covering with the camouflage? Seems like all the important M-specific parts would be exposed...

If anything, it draws more attention to the car as being something other than a regular 135. The best camouflage would have been none at all

It was a "breadvan" even before the coupe came out,...it just did not hit the US market

rear looks like a VW. why can't small car look good? the lexus CT small hatch looks so much better. only if it were fun to drive and had a decent powerplant option.
