Gray leather is a serious E46 fail. E36 dove and E90 silverstone are so hot.

 

the only horrible mod I see is the front lip.

 

Dove looks exactly the same to me as grey...

 

Ara you were right, CSL was silver gray (or black sapphire which was not avail on other models). I shoulda known better. Maybe I was thinking of a prototype.

Op if your set on an E46 M3 I would say go for it. I have an 02 at 107k miles that still runs strong. I do all my own maintenance to keep the car in top shape like others on M3F. Still on the original clutch too and while I haven't experienced any VANOS issues yet I started a large interest thread pertaining to the E46 M3s most tricky and worrisome flaw. These cars for the most part are engineered well so don't let the few issues keep you from owning one.
